After September 11, 2001, the world changed: the collapse of the Twin Towers following the attack caused consequences for everyone. Not only the Twin Towers, but America and the whole world collapsed that day; with the passing of time, New York got back up and started living again, respecting the pain and honoring the memory of the victims of that late summer morning.
After 20 years, the need to rethink our being in the world unsustainable for the West, unsustainable for the East, for the North and the South, is more and more pressing. Violence - between humans and against animals and the planet, is never a solution, rather it exacerbates problems and brings more violence. We still need to rediscover our deep humanity and unity between humans and the planet, the only way to live in harmony in this world as one family, the Humankind.
